Criminals Making Teachers Feel Like Criminals

The union does nothing because the administrators who harass me are not doing anything illegal or beyond the limits of the procedures laid out by the district. The goal is to humiliate me, take up my time, be intimidated by constant observations and meetings. It does not occur to the site representatives who are present at these meetings that there is undue pressure on me or that a hostile and stressful environment is created.

I am constantly berated and punished for being "insensitive" because I am strict and do not allow chaos to prevail in my classroom. Lip service is paid to academic excellence, but if a teacher tries to actually teach, there are consequences such as plans of improvement, endless meetings, constant observation. Real teachers in my school are made to feel like criminals and the repercussions are very personal. I am afraid all the time.
